Free-mo

The latest in H0 scale modular model railways.

Most members of the BRRM build and operate modules constructed to the Calgary Free-mo specification which is itself a slightly tweaked version of the Free-mo America standard.  With a few exceptions such as the Sparling Yard set all modules are owned by individual members.  At present we have over 20 module sets totaling around 200 feet in length.  Setups are done on a regular basis with the Alberta Free-mo Meet in August and The Great Edmonton Train Show in September being our main events.

For more information visit the official Free-mo site:  Free-mo.org.

I enjoyed the spectacle that the module created; and the inspiration it provided many layout-planning modellers.
What are we going to do for next year!?!? A fully operating DIAMOND!???.................OOPS!; did I say that out loud!?

Hello!

By the way guys, your Edmonton layout was awesome and I can't kick myself in the butt enough for not attending. Next year I hope!

I still think you folks have done a terrific job on your layout. One kit you have on the layout is your Fire Station which I have bought & am putting it together but I am having trouble figuring out how to make the roof work. Is there anyone; particularly the member who built the kit who can give me some help to get it right - the roof? I would appreciate it very much. Thank you.
